You may well think of The Homesick as a band that kicks out a hot and howling mix of your favourite Litter and Josef K singles. And one rocking up in the BEST scally look this side of 1985 (and NOT counting the fact that one day you just know their straightlegs are gonna lose their seams just about trainer level) but to us at Smikkelbaard they conjure up other images.

Provincial bus routes with plump drivers, creosoting the fence, just doing nothing, watching Italian football on cable tv and maybe popping down to the snackbar to get a kroket meal deal. Or trying to find a way of breaking into the fag machine in the pub. Top shit. And still time to dream up possible trips to space in their Unimog. Beat that Sun Ra! Shit the overachieving, brown shoed/charcoal suited social media experts with olive-eating friends can't do this kind of stuff, they'd go all furry at the edges. That's why we dig The Homesick. You can dig them too, courtesy of some drawings we made of them. Stick them on your wall & sing Tiffany's (I Think) We're Alone Now, screaming, your throat bleeding with your exertions. Wipe your bum with them, but best of all, colour them in.
