Gerlovs it has begun feels like a prose poem, the tracks the white spaces between the lines. Listening to it you enter a loop that affords the album title a playful irony. So how to go about describing it:

In terms of a character in a novel or play a
Beatle-Bowie raving lunatic
In terms of excrement, I’d say piss, the kind
after a night of heavy drinking
yellow-mellow, bittersweet.
In abstract terms number one, not two
splattering about your immaculate toilet floor
In terms of furniture an empty room, no ceiling,
no walls, the floor quicksand
you sink into, deeper and deeper,
layer by layer while
somehow still breathing
In terms of computer games, Atari Pong,
black and white, run, Pacman is gonna
eat you any moment, Supermario is
frantically jumping sideways to
warn you of no avail
In terms of the circus, the clown
without the red nose, the animals in
the audience
In terms of the weather, a clear-blue
sky summers day
shot through with lightning, rolling
thunder, play it stereo, play it loud!
And I promise
you’ll never know what hit you.
